Something to think about to all you people complaining about the TSA...

You realize that we torture people for years - without giving them any rights or access to lawyers, or a trial or hearing or ANYTHING...

Just to try to keep our flights safe.

You really going to complain about some guy brushing over your groin for half a second with the side of his hand, over your clothes...

Think about it.

wehateporn 11-16-2010 07:14 PM

I can take that, but definitely not the body scanner, would prefer not to fly than have my DNA destroyed

NaughtyRob 11-16-2010 07:18 PM

As long as they don't bitch about the porn on my laptop I don't give a fuck.

It's a little more than "a brush over your groin for half a second."

Anybody who thinks that being sexually assaulted, or taking a bath in backscatter radiation has anything to do with preventing "terrorism" is a fool. :2 cents:

epitome 11-16-2010 09:29 PM

The thing is ... it won't prevent another attack.

They'll figure something else out.

The human asshole can hold explosives and a terrorist can pack himself, refuse the scanner, get patted down and still get on the plane.

Rochard 11-16-2010 11:42 PM

I want everyone on my plane to be checked and be checked again. I don't care what race anyone is. I want to feel safe on my flights. If it means a full body cavity search, so be it.

That or they just don't plan anything for a while and let the unrest build about these scanners catching pretty much nobody doing anything suspicious. Either way, they've won. :(

Are you for real? Sexually Assaulted? Do you actually fly? I log hundreds of thousands of miles and have never had even the slightest feeling of being violated during the hand searches.

You guys just look for shit to complain about?

I have absolutely no faith in the system, No faith in these "security" people in the airport. They do not inspire any confidence at all. As far as pad downs sure no problem but not for one second am I suprized to hear things go down.

Why can't a US solider pad down a Taliban woman but a TSA officer can in the US?

Actually there is a movement in the Muslim community to make it so the TSA agent can only touch their heads. :Oh crap

That do that too sometimes. Been there, done that. I don't wish that on any of you. Just be sure to travel with your 2257 docs as that was the ONLY thing that kept things from going from bad to worse.

You guys just look for shit to complain about?

I fly a LOT and have 3 complaints:

1) TSA agents are rude. I know they have a shitty job, but they took it and are paid for it. Be fucking nice or go flip burgers.

2) TSA agents (and Immigration officers) POWER TRIP!

3) I loath taking all of my shit out of my carry on and sometimes have to do it more than once. Really, just scan it like you do my checked luggage and let me go. WHY do I hate it? Because they NEVER put it back well, if at all. I spent a lot of time making sure everything is in it's place and they just tear through it like a 4 year old on Christmas morning. Very unprofessional.

I'll strip naked for them and stroke it if it will get me through faster. I don't care about that, but they really need to lose the attitude and have a little respect for other people's property.

I'd also like to note that I can and have literally flown around the world WITHOUT A HITCH, until I landed on US soil. Almost every time I fly, there are no issues, no delays, no hassle at all until I'm in the USA. Then I have to deal with obese black women in Chicago who can't even speak English properly and they want to give me an attitude? Immigration wants to know why I have been out of the USA for so long and what's wrong with America to make me want to live outside it. I tell them, because of shit like this. I NEVER have to deal with shit abroad. Never. Only in my home country am I treated like a criminal upon arrival. Makes me sick really and makes me not want to go back, ever again.

Your experience has been that in the USA you run into issues with TSA? I never have in any country. In fact, the one time I had any extensive dealings with them is the time I flew Buddy from Indy to LAX and he arrived 4 or 5 hours before me.

A few TSA girls adopted him and walked him around LAX until I arrived. He was actually leash trained by the time I got to LA and I had done nothing more than buy a leash that was to be used later.

PR_Glen 11-17-2010 11:46 AM

what does the new TSA regulations have to do with torturing detainees?

It's like saying that nobody should ever stand up for their rights ever because someone else had it worse...

I should have said airport security in whatever form they take. Pretty much anyone with the authority to look through my shit.

Though I have to admit, LAX isn't that bad, but I don't fly in and out of there much. Chicago (ORD) is where I do most of my international flying from and it's a NIGHTMARE of attitude. However, it was LAX when they looked through all my tranny porn. THANK GOD I was not in Chicago for that. I'd still be there!!!! :1orglaugh

baddog 11-17-2010 12:33 PM

ORD is my least favorite airport in the flyover state region.

exactly....

just like flight attendants can get you kicked off of a plane for whatever reason now..

you can't even tell someone to fuck off anymore with out worrying about getting stuck on the no fly list...

The search technique everyone is complaning about is likely a search you have not received.

If you are selected and refuse the Xray you get a very invasive search which for a man includes up, under and around your balls, fingers down your waist band and down your ass crack. Pretty much the only thing they don't do is tell you to drop your pants and spread your cheeks.

They just started doing these. The normal pat downs are not bad at all, most is done with the back of the hand and the worst I've experienced is fucking around my bra and running fingers under my underwire.

Honestly, my biggest problem with all these measures is they don't prevent shit. I can't even count how many times some TSA asshole who is supposed to be monitoring the carry-on xray screen is too busy jack jawing with another employee and not paying attention to what's going through.

Not only that, but if someone is willing to blow themselves up they are not going to have a problem with shoving something up their ass, and let's face it- short of doing a full body cavity check none of this shit is going to detect it.

I don't know why they don't mirror Israeli airport security. You want to talk about a high risk target, their flights have been taking off and landing without a hitch and they don't do any of this shit. They are laughing at us. :Oh crap

Not only flight attendents but ticket agents too- ESPECIALLY the ones at the "customer service" counter, where you have to go when the airline fucks you and leaves you stranded for your connecting flight.

Take even a slightly aggrivated tone with them and they will threaten to have security remove you from the premises. :disgust

ORD really is horrible. And just when you think it can't get any worse, try coming through ORD when it's snowing hard. NIGHTMARE. Canceled flights and full on attitude from Shamika and Yalonda who have to work overtime.

Something to think about..

Israel thinks the TSA is a joke, and their airports are 100000000 times more secure than any in the US.

And they have a very real, constant threat living within their borders.

I'm sorry, but the black lady who was on welfare 2 weeks before she got her TSA gig is not qualified to handle security anywhere. Ever.

Actually, the last time I had the ability to get away with a free punch on someone was at ORD, in the winter, with canceled flights.

For the record, goodgirl just got on her flight back to Midway from LAX, with no change in security habits.

I flew into the states earlier this week and even people being xrayed were sent into secondary yet. There is no preventing the new pat down, if they want to do it your ass they will, xrayed or not. And for the record ORD does suck horrible asshole, especially in the snow.

ShellyCrash 11-17-2010 08:58 PM

They have nice bathrooms though. I am a fan of the toilet seat liners.

I guess I don't have the same hate on for it as I've never been stuck overnight at O'Hare, every time I'm there I've had the fortune to make my connecting.
