FWIW, I believe Verotel programs have a 30 day default cookie unless changed manually.

Our's is 30 days.

You're welcome. Verotel has some negatives (no referring url display for affiliates) but I've done quite well with them and have always been paid.

But remember that if it's a custom setup just because the cookie is 30 days doesn't mean it's still credited as such or even read. You have to do your own tests to be sure. :2 cents:

We actually take our tracking a step further, when a user registers an account and they submit their email address on the first page we write the affiliate ID into the user record, so every user you refer is your user for life- for 3 days, 3 weeks, 3 months or 3 years. :thumbsup

Dating has a longer tail then alot of other products, so I don't know how useful implementing this kind of tracking may be for content driven sites. With dating you definitely see conversions sometimes months out and that's why we felt adding this additional tracking was necessary.
