That reminds me of a news story i read once, i think it was in India where an tower block caught fire and the firemen couldn't reach them so a party of builders (under their own initutive) built a bridge out of scaffolding from the building they were working on to the one on fire and saved people.

That sucks, I feel for those who died.

saw this in the paper earlier, puts it into context with how feeble the water and ladders look next to the building
