Veterans Day...
 

makes me miss my grandfather.

He would tell the same WWII stories over and over and over again. It used to drive all of us in the family NUTS.

Now I'd kill for him to be able to tell me one of those stories. :(

It's almost been 10 years. I was in the hospital when he died and I was not able to attend his funeral. I never got closure.
