WordPress 3.1-alpha - Is Looking Good!!!
 

My favorite feature about WordPress 3.1 is the admin bar that is on top while on your site. You can edit page/post on the fly while on your site.

Ajaxified admin screens...This is useful for people who have 1000s of entries.

There are a lot of goodies in this release that is currently available in beta.

One of the most requested features is post/templates/post style feature that is included. Now, you can easily have a unique style for your post.


I am testing shit out and my work volume has increased about 5%.

I think that feature alone will make WP even more popular than it already is.

I've been waiting for a feature like that for years.

wordpress fucking rocks! it has turned into one hell of a cms that can pretty much handle anything

ya currently i was using the post templates plugin, so you can have custom design for each sponsor, really handy.

Thanks I used the Modern Clix and New York themes for this.

I do the same thing.

The new post template is gonna look sharp with my customizations for each sponsor I use.

Sounds cool - a little scared to upgrade after all the plugins/mods I just made to wordpress though...

If you did mods to the actual WordPress files then I would not upgrade. Plugins always keep on updating unless you have an old one.

A little bit here and there

If an update becomes essential I'll pay someone to help update properly while taking the hardcoded mods into consideration
