Lots of restaurants having Veteran's Day specials today.

I opted for the free meal at Applebee's.

We usually hit up the Military Appreciation Day at Golden Corral. It is like a reunion every year. We see many of the same folks every year.

They always have it on a different night than Veterans day so they don't interfere with vets parades or ceremonies.

They have a big veterans day parade every year in Shasta Lake city, has a fly over and everything, it was last weekend. Other than that, I visit the cemetery each Veterans day
