That spot got hit three times a few years back when we had Charley and Ivan and I think it was the same year as Katrina.

Yes, Lake Mary is a nice area with nice houses, nice people, clean streets, and they don't have to lock everything up behind plexi glass at the stores. Thread closed. You are welcome.

Yep, it is a very nice place. I worked there for 10 years and lived in the area.

It is a nice area, it's a quick drive into Orlando. Most of what I have seen of it has been very nice and suburban. Same for Altamonte Springs, etc. As far as hurricanes go, anywhere in FL you are going to have risk. You're looking at property smack in the middle of the state so asside from a few tornados that came with Charlie you're good.

The only thing I would point out though is that looks WAY close to I-4. I don't think I'd want I-4 in my backyard. :2 cents:

Oh, and stay off Orange Blossom Trail if you're ever driving around in the Orlando area (unless you want to buy some crack :1orglaugh).
