file renamer inside windows explorer?
is there an extension or whatever you want to call it that adds file renaming capability inside Windows file explorer?
|
Right click on the file and rename?
Or mark the file and press F2? Can be done to several files at a time, within the same folder, they will then get a (number) before their file extension. There are also many programs on download.com which will rename multiple files for you after any one system you setup. Or maybe I don't get what you're asking for? |
i meant a batch renamer - able to rename files however you want them renamed sequentially
|
Aha, go to download.com there are several batch renamers

stop pretending to do work and get on icq

I find it fairly quick and easy to rename files in XP or Vista with FastStone's Photo Resizer freeware.
