NASA is German already. All so-called "US-space program" was founded and directed by the German SS officer Werner Von Braun and his Nazi gang. Everything the US did in space (excluding later Challenger and Columbia failures) were done by a group of Nazi SS officers. Even a first man on the Moon was sent there by German Nazi's. There is no such a thing as a NATIONAL US space program, because it was managed by other nation. The nation of German SS officers.

The asteroid will be closer to earth on its initial pass than some of our satellites. I guess the major concern is what will happen after the Sun's gravity whips it back in our direction for its return pass.
