wasn't gonna do any more post about the ride... but whoa!!! the more I drive that machine the more blown out I am. unfucking beleiveable... if you can put one together for yourself I really recommend it... other than the shitty gas mileage it's about perfect...

I have the 2005 CTS-V. Love it. I would upgrade to the new one in a second if i drove more. I still only have 23,000 miles on this one.

Just so easy to get around my city without driving.

02 Camaro SS, cam-only 364, 3800 stall 4 speed auto, nitrous, roughly 550hp.

I get about 8mpg around town, 11 on the freeway if I'm nice to it.:1orglaugh

it's weird having a luxury car that is a muscle car as well, isn't it?

i hate this thread.

I purchased a WS-6 Ram Air Trans Am with the 5.7 litre engine and the performance package brand new back in 1996 and drove it as my daily driver for over ten years. I loved it until it started falling apart in a million different ways a few years ago. Now I drive a much more practical 3.7 litre V6 Jeep Liberty Limited that fits my giant Kino Flo light case, stands, and all my other 100+ pounds of gear and props that I typically bring to shoot locations. Ironically the T/A got better gas mileage than the Jeep which gets about 12-13 mpg. Luckilly I have set my life up so I don't have to drive often or far so I don't really miss driving a muscle car.

I rent a min-van to carry my HMI's, strobes and grip package to shoots... only $350 a week and a total, very clear, tax write off . usually get the dodge caravan with the sto-and-go seats... fold up underneath the floor for a totally clean load in and out...

I'll be out of this caddy before the warranty is even close to over :winkwink:

and I'm probably doing 12-13 mpg on a good day.. I figure around 5-8 in town and maybe, just maybe 15-20 on the hwy

I would never buy another petrol car. Only diesels from now on. It was never the cost of the fuel that bothered me, it was the fact i would have to go fill up almost every day.

When it comes to both "luxury" and "muscle" I think my ride has the perfect combination of the two. Rockin a very refined 500+ HP V10 with all the power and performance of an exotic sports car AND the comfort/trunk space of a caddy.
