Thanks man, yes the Victorians and Olde English bullies have been bred to be taller, healthier, live longer, more athletic and "free-whelpers" they can breed and have pups on their own w/out the Vets help..unlike the English

Being on the computer all day..I'd say these dogs are perfect for webmasters..they get you outside just enuff to keep you fit, but will also lay under your desk for hours, snoring while you work..I love the sound of a thick bully snoring.lol

We have a friend who breeds Frenchies. She starts at around $1700 and they go up from there.

French Bulldogs have very small litters, usually just 1 pup and they have to be delivered via a C-Section because their heads are too big to be born vaginally.

That's about right for the Frenchies..the rare colors go for 5-8k I've seen

yea the vet bills get costly, so you have to add that to the cost, but they are super cute ..wifey wants one to carry around with her to the store

yea, they can let'em rip from time to time, because of their snouts taking in more air then other types of dogs...then BAM, they can clear the room out fast, but it's a great Ice breaker on your 1st date

Saw an English Bulldog kennel a while back. They were selling them for $3500 - $6,000 each. I'm in the wrong business.

Never heard of a Victorian Bulldog before but it's a much nicer looking dog than the English Bulldog.

American Bully aka "shorty Bulls" or Pocket Pitts..this breed is fairly new.

American Bully, which is a new breed created from the American Pit Bull Terrier and American Staffordshire Terrier. This breed has been establish since 2004, it was created to give a new direction and outlet for the breed. All the positive characteristics of the breeds used were kept, like loyalty, stability with humans, and other impressive physical attributes. The traits of dog aggression and gameness were bred out of the breed, because the breed had no future purpose for those traits. A new style of breed was formed and is now promoted as the ?American Bully?. This breed still carries the ancestry of the ?Pit Bull? and still has to deal with the reputation of that breed; but, this is not the same breed. This breed has be reinvented to truly be the ultimate companion breed...

Olde Victorian Bulldogge

The OVB is an olde bulldogge that is being bred and shown to the victorian era standard A large smooth coated dog with a wide heavily built torso and chest. He is large headed with thick bones that does not impede vigor. Broad muzzle with a short face, but not too short to hinder breathing capabilities. Hindquarters should be slightly higher than the foreparts. The bulldogge should have a symmetrical body and be well muscled. The OVB must be loyal and courageous but must have a stable temperament.

A 1st generation Victorian is English Bulldogge and Olde English bulldogge hybrid

to create an Olde English bulldogge..you need English Bulldogge and American Bulldog to create the 1st generation hybrid.

Great looking dogs! I'd never heard of that variant before, but they certainly look better proportioned than the bullies I've seen around here. The extra height does them well.
