Hey,

I would like to announce that I am the new owner of the Liquid Media script now known as AIO Script

As some of you know the last owner Eric is no longer working on this script and has been offering people the chance to buy their own personal licenses. Eric offered me this chance which i accepted as i run lots of sites using this script and i want to develop the script and add more features. It then made sense that if i was going to develop it i may as well make it available to others to use as i know quite a few people here have sites running this software.

This is a great script and i want to keep it alive for people to use.

The script now comes with 3 fully integrated templates, 1 of which is the old standard template (white) and the other 2 are pink and blue (pink version below, blue the same style):

These 2 new templates use all of the script functionality to the full and you can see it in action at the Demo site here: AIO Demo

The script comes with the Group Plugin as standard now (used to be an additional $99 plugin)

One of the main problems with the script when the last owner had it was getting templates was very hard and expensive, I will be adding more templates soon, some with a more "Tube" Theme and some more like the above so you don't have to worry about templates any more. If any one still wants custom templates i can integrate them for a fee.

Support will be carried out over the support forum here but please bare with me as i am not a programmer and have to hire someone in so support will be very limited for a while. Also alot of support will be taken care of over script updates.

I offer 2 packages:

1: basic script - $299
you purchase the script and get all the great features, free templates, group plugin etc.

2: additional package - $350
once you purchase the script I will install it for you, setup the script with one of the default templates of your choice and for $20 per paysite I will add all of the content of that paysite and setup all the advertising etc - great for people who don't have the time/inclination to do this. Also great for Sponsors, you have 1000's of FHG's, get some good SE traffic to them :)

For those people who already own a copy of this script, if you want to upgrade to get the group plugin and the templates it is $100, send me an email to arrange.

btw, there was 1 guy that did a insanely nice template for the script and It was winning the design contest the last owner had, you should contact him about that design, I'd pay extra for It.

Yes, I remember that design, as I wanted it.

I have a copy of this on an undeveloped domain, and I can't remember the login info. I should do something about that one of these days.

It will be interesting to see where this goes. That script had a lot of potential.

I feel for all the people who bought it then have to pay you 100 to upgrade. I hope you have fixed all the bugs as well. I ran it on a site that was 450k aday and the server went into melt down. And the site ran on 2 dedicated image servers/1 dedicated html server/1 dedicated mysql server. :) By the time i pulled it site was 200k aday and sill would not run on the 4 servers.

I would love a free license.

Do you sell the unencoded version of the script? If so how much?
I've had bad experiences in the past with encoded scripts and owners going MIA or not providing any support.

it was serious server load. Lots of mysql usage. In the middle of it all i added another mysql box to load ballance but everything still ran extremly sluggish and still at a good bit of load even with 2 dedicated mysql boxes. Was the worst 2 months of my life hehe.

We bought a license when this first came out, alas we haven't done anything with it, but are looking to develop it now as part of the traffic hub we want to develop... So we will need to chat I guess :winkwink:

Hmm this is interesting to say the least. For your sake I hope you actually did buy the script from Eric rather than acting like his new front man. I still run LM on a number of sites but man what a mess all of that was the first time around.

If you did in fact buy the script, let me know if you wish to sell an unencoded version (not for resell or anything). I have put a lot of time into one of my LM sites and always wanted more control over the mods, etc in case anything drastic ever happened.

Oh really? I talked to Eric on numerous occasions as to why you stopped using the script, I was told other reasons. Figured there must have been a reason for you to revert back to your old layout/script. Oh the lies I was told. :winkwink:

Wow! This is great news! I am glad Eric decided to pass it on to someone that will work with it more. Very positive note on Eric's behalf. I wish he would of done the same with Raptor :) ..

I have a few licenses for the script. I think it is great! However it did need some work. I have unexplainedmedia.net on it and I would like to get it upgraded for sure if possible.

It's a shame the script is encoded.

Spudman, when we looked at the original script these are the things that turned us off buying it.

1. Apparent issues with loading under heavy traffic
2. Template availability
3. Reports of lack of support.
4. Source code.

Hope you do better with it than was done previously, address these issues and things should go well for you.
