Anyone got an Xbox Kinect yet ???
 

I'm waiting for UPS to deliver mine, I can't wait to try it. Has anyone on here got it yet or do you plan on buying it ???

The only thing that I worry about is that the novelty is gonna wear off quickly, like it did with the Wii. I guess there are other things you can do with it like video chat, which is cool.

I have seen it on TV and want one so let us know how you like it please.

which games are available for it?

My son got it today, we are playing it right now. Fun stuff with no controllers.

I wanna try it but the gaming for the kinect won't be anything as good as the playstation move. I'm an xbox guy tho, even though ps3 is free online I still prefer the xbox.

The Move sucks ass, you need those gay ass controllers with the big ball on top.

nope bought a ps3 today though, mainly cause the bluray and gran turismo my xbox dont have ;/

I like any interactive game that makes your ass move haha. But how does it compare to a wii! :D I wonder.

I was going to get it yesterday, but I just bought a new xbox 360 without the Kinect. Decided to wait awhle. At least my 6 year old xbox got an upgrade though. Ok, more like put to rest. haha

Slightly off topic but I hate the new look of the dashboard. It's slick and nice looking but it's boring and has no personality.

Well, after having my Kinect for the day, my kids seem to love it. It's pretty fun and interesting. The Kinectimals is cute, my daughter loves playing that, even I had some fun with that, the one thing that sucks about that game is that everything is so dragged out, it's like just get to the gameplay, ha ha.

The "Kinect Adventures" is cool and the "Kinect Sports" will keep me entertained for a while. It's kinda funny that the camera will record you playing the game, then after it's over, it'll show you what you looked like, ha ha. Then it has a one click share button, which uploads the videos to a site where you can log in and tag them on your Facebook, pretty neat stuff.

The camera seems to pick up movements pretty well, so there's no problems with that, at least for me anyway.

Overall, it's fun and I'm enjoying it, but it's not great. The one thing I fear is that the novelty is gonna wear off quickly and it's gonna sit and collect dust. Sure, it's neat to not have to use a controller, but for any hardcore game, you're gonna need that controller. I could never imagine playing a Call Of Duty game like that, I'm sure it's coming though.

I am not getting it because I will break everything in my house.

I just finished Red Dead Redemption, great game. :thumbsup
