so my contract is up ...iphone 4 or blackberry torch ?

what one should I get ?
I currently have a iphone 3gs

Supz 11-04-2010 07:23 AM

You should look at the galaxy S our Android HTC verizon has (if you are in the US) if you want a touch screen.

I love my blackberry though. Cant function without a keyboard.

scuba steve 11-04-2010 07:24 AM

anything but the blackberry

DaddyzHome 11-04-2010 07:29 AM

My contract is up in a couple of weeks (Iphone 3GS). I will be switching to the HTC Incredible on Verizon. I HATE AT&T.

I would check out Virgin Mobile, it runs on the Sprint network but much cheaper than anyone out there... :winkwink:

My Dad had the Torch and didn't like it.

If you're on ATT, they best phone they offer at the moment is the Samsung Captivate.

I don't think they have a decent smartphone on the Prepaid plans.

They just added the Samsung Intercept which is a pretty decent Android phone, and like I said can't beat the pricing. :pimp

The Intercept is actually a gimp'd version of the older Samsung Moment. It's not a bad phone, but it doesn't compare to the iPhone or anything else on the market.

I had an old Sprint SERO account that got grandfathered in. We have a family plan with 3 phones, 1500 minutes, and unlimited everything else. Costs me $69.99 plus $15 for the 3rd line. That's a price point that can't be beat.

That's the best spec'd phone on the market. If you've got one you can play with, check it out. Anything your iPhone can do, your wife's Captivate can do better :winkwink:

CashGordon 11-04-2010 09:28 AM

I've ordered Torch today and i was using bold2. The best if you are dealing with a lot of emails.

Sid70 11-04-2010 09:36 AM

I like my iPhone 3GS and would only trade it for HTC and 4G network like Sprint.
On a side note, I always wanted to experience BlackBerry too.

:thumbsup

I tried the BB torch the other week & found it annoyingly big in my hands, the iphone has stayed with me. Especially after hearing HTC are bringing out their new range in about a month or so... Hold on for a month Chris :2 cents:

I absolutely LOVE my Curve 8520 .... it's my 4th BB, and considering they are marketing it as an entry level BB, I think it's my favorite one yet!!

Perfect combo of size and functionality ... and the trackpad is an awesome upgrade from the trackball.
