She wasn't up for reelection, but she lost her title, Speaker of the house, I feel all giddy over it, I hate that bitch

dyna mo 11-03-2010 12:21 PM

she kept her seat but lost the speaker of the house position.

Agent 488 11-03-2010 12:23 PM

saw her at a dive bar sitting in the corner downing shots and plugging the juke box full of sad country songs.

Yeah...I thought she was up for re-election...but I just googled and learned that she wasn't.

The Democratic Party should replace her as the minority leader when the new congress takes session. She is a disaster for them nationally in elections. I think every attack ad aimed at a Dem anywhere in the country would show Nancy Pelosi in it. lol

The Wicked Witch of the West?

I think Dems should keep her on.

;)

How could she not have been up for reelection? The members of the House run every two years. Yes, I'm glad she is going but for what? That orange skin douchewad Boner? No thanks.

How was she not up for reelection? House gets reelected every two years.

Agreed. She is too polarizing a figure.

This election wasn't as devastating for the Democrats as alot of people are making it out to be, but circling the wagons is certainly in order.

I don't understand it either, but I'm sure glad she won't be in the press anymore

So, even though Obama is still the Prez, will the NEW Speaker of the House, a republican, be behind Joe Biden as next in line to assume the presidency if/when it ever becomes Constitutionally necessary?

Yes, although I hope that never happens
I hope that Obama will put away his arrogance and work with the GOP and actually work on fixing the mess that has happened over the last 4 years.

Our country did really good under a democrat president and GOP controlled house and senate. It's a balance and thats the way our government works the best. 1994 to 2000

Is it wrong of me for wanting to drop a creamy load on her face.

I am not sure I understand the point/question. The idea of Pelosi being third in line is even scarier than Biden being next in line. I think he was Obama's insurance policy.

TheDoc 11-03-2010 03:11 PM

That's one crazy bitch on the left side that needed to go... I wonder who is next?

That is part of what is broken. How much of that two years is spent campaigning for the next term?
