Banner sizes
 

other than the 468x80 norm, what are other sizes used for banners? I see many different sized ones and was wondering if it was 'accepted' to make tham any 'ol size you wanted to.

I want to make one, but the text needs to be large for its effect to work.

It's not like your affiliates have to use it, just make it and if it's good it'll get clicks. Just keep the filesize down.
