Chiptole is good shit. Could stuff their fajita burritos up my throat all day long.

SpaceAce 01-13-2003 03:49 AM

Chipotle kicks ass, but I liked them better before McDonald's bought them.

Last year, they contributed a whole days gross receipts (not net) to the April and Jimmy Malone Scholorship Fund (Jimmy Malone is a local radio morning show host). I thought that was some pretty cool shit.

That, and they serve burritos as big as footballs.

I eat them with ketchup.

Rilose 01-13-2003 03:50 AM

ask GOBIGTIME, apparently he is addicted to chipotle burritos..sup dude :)

BJ 01-13-2003 03:51 AM

worst burritos ever

goBigtime 01-13-2003 03:51 AM

Chipolte is the @#$@#ING best.

Too bad McDonalds owns them :(

But they own me just the same :thumbsup

I probably eat there every other day on average.. if not more. It's a real problem.

But those burritos are just so big.. its like you could eat one & nothing else for the day and you would be good.

I'm sure the Islanders have a very 'haole' way of saying it too...

The Spanish word chipotle is a contraction of chilpotle in the Náhuatl language of the Aztecs, where chil referred to the hot pepper and potle was derived from poctli, meaning smoked. The word was apparently reversed from Náhuatl, where it originally was spelled pochilli. Other early spellings in Mexico are tzilpoctil, tzonchilli, and texochilli.

:winkwink:

Q. Why don't the chinese go to Frank Delima's shows?

sonomasnap 01-13-2003 07:15 AM

I used to go to the ORIGINAL Chipotle in Denver. Store #1. People would line up out the door. Now that I live in Montreal, can't get any of the good stuff.

No, but McDonalds owns Chipotle.

Chipolte sucks... the wave of the future is BAJA FRESH.

now that is one fucking good burrito.
I recommend the Burrito Ultimo (Chicken). The fresh made salsa's kick ass too.

They are owned by Wendy's I think. Maybe burger king... not sure. Anyway it rocks.
:2 cents:

Lane 01-13-2003 08:08 AM

they have good shit

B_Maverick 01-13-2003 08:13 AM

Chipotle peppers are awesome and make great sauces. They can be purchased in the mexican food section of most grocery stores. A little restaurant in San Antonio serves the best "Pork Tips in Chipotle sauce" I have ever had.

I have found a number of good recipes on the net, that use Chipotle peppers.

JimW 01-13-2003 08:57 AM

Baja Fresh is decent, but I'd have to say Chipotle is better.

Any time I need a good colon blow, I head on over to Chipotle, order the barbacoa with the hottest red sauce, poor chipotle-flavored Tabasco over it....

brocklander 01-13-2003 07:16 PM

Sorry for the confusion.

I was mimmicking that new Jack in the Crack (a fast food place here in the West), where Jack can't pronounce the word Chipotle.

Chipotle is also the name of another gourmet fast food restaurant that was just featured on the Food Network.

Whichever the case, I'm getting hungry!!!
