I can't recommend Hawk Host enough, their servers are fast and support is amazing. I have all of my adult blogs hosted there and over the last year have only had 10 minutes of downtime and that was maintenance that was announced a month before hand.

Hostgator for small stuff.

Webair for the realy good shit.

when you say cheap I assume 10 month is cheap. 2 really good virtual accounts are cyberwurx.com and amerinoc.com

do not use dreamhost I wouldnt even signup for their one year for $10 promo because you will be offline 50% of the time.

Starts at $10 a month and scales up depending on what you're using. As far as quality goes Rackspace is the best. But you're going to have to set everything up yourself, because you just get a clean install of a linux distro of your choice, with nothing on it except SSH.

My experience with Hostgator is wonderful! Phone is good, ticket system is great and I have never had even so much as one issue which was not resolved on the first contact.
