How many other people can do the things he does in his personal life and get away with it?

He plays a character on TV which is basically himself. If Seinfeld did what Charlie did while his show was #1, I don't think his career would have survived.

Who else can get away with that shit?

I actually think Charlie's career gets a boost from it since he's all over TV and TMZ. He didn't get arrested, so I guess that makes what he did OK?

Just crazy.

read today the list of most arrested celebs - leader by far is Martin Sheen with 66 arrests, must be in the family. although it was mostly for resisting on demonstrations, nothing serious.

second place is shared between Snoop Dog and James Brown with 8 arrests each and third comes Mike Tyson with 7 arrests
