Checkout "Winter's Bone" I just saw it and it was pretty good

Sarah_Jayne 11-02-2010 11:50 AM

Clerks when it is just about fun and City Of God when it is about quality.

CaptainHowdy 11-02-2010 11:52 AM

If you have "a favorite movie" you don't really like movies...

Sarah_Jayne 11-02-2010 12:03 PM

That is rubbish...you can love cinema but still have one or two that you have a particular affection for above the rest.

Just like how you can truly love music but have a song you like the most.

I have a list of about 25 favorite that constantly changes. The one at the top of the list has changed since the day it came out.

james_clickmemedia 11-02-2010 12:21 PM

the social network was good
date night

Sarah_Jayne 11-02-2010 12:21 PM

Yeah, exactly...I could give you a huge list of films that all could qualify as a favourite depending on my mood. Then, it is more or less the same with music. I tend to be able to give a list of bands that more or less sum up my taste in music and then the top song just rotates with my mood.

_Richard_ 11-02-2010 12:28 PM

check out if they have 'la haine'.. saw it years ago and really liked it

I agree.. there are tons of movies (and music for that matter) I would consider "favorites" ... in this case I had an almost empty Queue and needed some suggestions - got some good ones.

:thumbsup

I have to agree.

Might as well add Kill Bill and Inglorious Bastards too, if you haven't seen them already.

And the moment Inception is out, if you missed that one it's worth the time.

I actually meant that mine hasn't changed. :1orglaugh

Boogie Nights has been my favorite flick since the day it came out. Everything else rotates around it.
