I lived near Eudora/Desoto, Kansas back in the '60s and the deer were everywhere. Lawrence was a lot of fun with all the KU students.

A Kansas farmgirl broke my heart. Soon thereafter, I joined the Army and never went back. It took six months to get over her and six years to get over the Army.

Dad no sooner got done dealing with the loss of one of his Nam buddies when today he found out that his college roomie died a few months back but he is very, very quiet about this one. The guy was a United States Marine who got sort of blown up in The Nam in his second tour, got a bad back and was of course Honorably discharged and lived nearby.

You know, there are just too many people on this board who dedicate their presence to fucking with others instead of listening, learning and making money.
