Which resolutions should we offer?
 

Has anybody done any research into what people like as far as resolution goes?

Is 4000+pixels overkill? Above what number do you think is overkill. Is it worth it in regards to bandwidth?

Im looking to offer 3 sizes, small medium and large and I am just having troubles deciding which should be the larger size. 2400x___ is about 2mb per photo. 3500x___ is 4mb and the full 5000x___ is about 9mb approx.

Anyway would love to hear peoples opinions regarding this, especially from those that have studied what their members have chosen to go with (if you offer more than one resolution)

Not sure if it matters but it is for our solo girl sites.

Are you talking about pixels on photos? I opened the thread, thinking it was about screen resolutions for vids, clips & previews.

I would have thought anyone looking at porn would not need any more than 3500px or there abouts. Our sites are only 1400 max... plenty big enough.
