All fucking day Mexicans walking around with these things strapped to their backs, blowing leaves from one side of the street to the other. What the fuck. It's noisy, useless and a waste of time and money.

whats wrong with using rakes? and when did it become ok to blow leaves into the streets? seems kind of stupid. I live in an older neighbourhood with smaller front lawns so nobody uses them around me but in the burbs? they are everywhere...

I don't know why, but Mexicans fucking LOVE any sort of gas-powered or electric device. Weed-eaters, leaf-blowers, anything like that. They go crazy for them.

I've always had a pet peeve against those things. I swear they just create pollution of EVERY sense, and do nothing that a perfectly good rake and gloves can't do. Raking on your grass is also helpful to your yard, and they sell nice wide push brooms for your walkway and driveway. No noise, no gas, no bitching neighbors. Let it take 10 minutes longer, exercise is good.

i guess the good thing is they take attention away from motorcycles!

personally I can't say that it bothers me... but then I'm surrounded by Mexicans and haven't noticed them really using them much

I have an electric blower vac, and the vac attachment is the only way i can get all the needles that fall off my tree out of the rocks. Its really handy for picking up and shredding leaves after i rake them up.

The blower part is usefull for moving leaves and needles out of spots you can't rake without destroying other plants or over rocks for example.
