Just for the record...

I don't like TGP's or what they stand for. But I own a network of them.

I HATE FREE PORN! But I give away thousands of free pics daily to surfers.

I get sick at the thought of newbs being able to easily start a new TGP and saturate the market further with free shit, but I own paysites and they all get a good amount of traffic from TGPs.

Why?

Because it's making my pockets fatter.

Convince me that there is an easier, faster, and more efficient way to get signups to my paysites and I'll get rid of all my TGP's, and won't accept TGP traffic to my paysites anymore! Convince me that waiting around 6 months to POSSIBLY get a good ranking on a SE is better than submitting galleries and listing my sites on my TGP network. PROVE to me you can have a paysite in today's market that does NOT get ANY tgp traffic and still remain a competitive entity. Show me you can totally ignore TGP's without using EMAIL SPAM and still turn a huge profit and get thousands of members.

Show me ONE big player who does this, and convince me it's a viable option. I beg of you.

I've been in the biz since 96, and I would LOVE to see shit go back to the way it USED to be... solid link trades, viable search engine positioning, and QUALITY traffic. But it's never gonna happen.

Hell, even PK has a TGP now. What's the fuckin alternative. Really.

Who am I going to compete with? There's no big players out there that reject TGP traffic these days. So there's no one to compete with.

There is a way. Its called advertising and publicity. The first takes money and the second doesn't. Both work if you know how to do them and also buy media wisely.

by revealing a webmaster his traffic sources and how he deals with them he automatically makes you a potential competitor and in your case: a sure competitor

Yep. But they don't replace TGP advertising for sheer profitability. Expense vs. Income.

Fact is, in today's net, there simply isn't a more effective way to get instant low-cost / high recognition advertising. I don't like it any more than you guys do, but let's call a spade a spade.

If you're gonna blame anyone for this explosion of TGP newbs, and all the saturation of free porn... point your finger at the paysite industry. We make it EASY for TGP owners to make galleries and profit from them. If paysites didn't offer the free content and hosted galleries, TGP owners would have to work a little harder, and there wouldn't be so many of them.

well this is just the beginning of the hosted gallery war so I wouldn't expect much pullback from sponsors.

I am trying to build a base of bookmarkers that have never been exposed to regular shit tgp traffic. It is working so far and these guys buy - 1000 hits to a gallery to get a sale (not click thrus) but I am dealing with only movies.

Get your traffic from everywhere but tgps and go from there - then we can build a NON-TGP traffic network of sites and all trade together privately.

If only there was a way to do something with the existing pool of shit tgp freeloading surfers.

Larger than the Hun? Traffic-wise? If that's true, they're not doing a very good job getting the word out to webmasters, because last I heard, Hun got the most traffic of any single TGP. Followed a close second by Worldsex.

I checked the info and its the total Monthly hits from each site. So yes in a way I will admit I was wrong and not checking my facts correctly.... its the total unique hits to a gallery over the course of one month.

but still it does kinda mean that if you get listed on one of the ones I mentioned you will get more hits over the course of a month.

Also the data is from sep. 2002 so I will eat a big fucking crow. MMMMMMMK. :helpme

Because if a surfer visits my site from an SE or a LL and bookmarks it and comes back they 90% likely have not seen a real tgp because mine is shitty from a surfers perspective and they wouldn't bother ever coming back if they saw a real tgp prior to this, and if they find one later and never return to mine? Oh well - but if they are stupid enoigh to think that what I am offering is as much as you get on the net - why would they waste their time looking? And regardless of this spoiling down the road - I'm doin my best to keep them in my bottle :) and my increasing daily bookmarkers is proof that I have trapped a bunch of SE surfing cc bearing newbs into a 1996 timewarp of free porn and that is why I am seeing such amazing conversions - we will see where things are in the future tho :thumbsup
