Rangers have a better overall team with balanced hitting and pitching but the Giants have better pitching. Should be interesting but I am picking the Rangers in 6 or maybe in 7.

Rangers on paper. But SF is playing great baseball right now and winning close games.

Sometimes you have to go with the team that is playing the best.

I'm pretty sure the Giants were the Underdogs in the Series coming in (so thanks for that), however the Giants still tortured their fans once again, but won Game #1 by a score of 11-7. :thumbsup

Seriously though, the Rangers are a damn good team. Don't let Game 1 fool you. Its not going to be that easy.

Okay, just to make it interesting, the Giants handed the Rangers Game #3 by a score of 4-2, making the series 2-1 in favor of the Giants.

Tonight is Halloween, and the Giants wear Orange, so I have to go with the Giants!!!

The giants win the world series!!!
 

Just as they started the World Series, with outstanding pitching by Tim "The Freak" Lincecum, the San Francisco Giants won the World series tonight, behind Lincecum, their ace reliever and closer Brian Wilson, and excellent defense and clutch hitting by the Band of Misfits!!! :thumbsup

I would have loved to see the Giants clinch the Championship at home, but when it comes to World Series titles, you have to take them when you can get them.

At the start of this series I thought Giants in 6. Actually nice to see I was wrong.

Now for the real poll: Will they repeat this win at this time next year?
