So it was like 11:35 lastnight and I wanted to go get some dvds at blockbuster so I jump in my lambo (ok volkswagen) anyways iit is like 5 minutes from my house and when i got out of my car it was twenty to twelve and blockbuster closes at 12... Anyways I get inside and the guy at the desk asks me to leave because he says its closed, I am like Uhh you close at 12 and its 11:40 and he is like no it is 12:10.... I look at my watch and I am like Iam pretty sure its not and that clock behind you says its not either... He is like "trust me its 10 after 12" then some other guy walks in the doors behind me and starts browsing for movies... I was like fuck this so I walk around pick out my movies take them up to the guy and he demands to not ring them through because they are closed... I said "look buddy, stop being a little bitch and just put them through" he says "maybee you should get a better watch we are closed" (he had just rang through the guy that came in after me) Like what the fuck, good ol blockbuster

I hate blockbuster!
Especially those little notices they mail you about late fees, how irritating. I usually rent from Rogers, but since we were closer to a Blockbuster, I opened an account there and they harassed the fuck outta me for like...$5? I had every intention of going down to pay it (when I had time of course) and dang! Those guys are mean!

Blockbuster is the worst place to rent videos, ever.

Their prices are higher than other stores and they don't have a good selection at all, they only stock up on junk you don't want to watch.

As lilmia said, if you keep your rental 1 day extra they will send you a COLLECTION NOTICE in the mail, and threaten to ruin your credit if you don't pay the late fee immediately. Most places just keep your late fees in your account and you pay the balance the next time you rent.

They put small videos stores out of business by opening Blockbusters at every corner and stealing their sales market. Most customers don't know any better, so they go to the most convenient store and get ass-raped by corporate evil.

And I guess you figured this out, but all their employees are complete retards, they know nothing about movies or which section a particular video might be in. They have to look in the computer for EVERYTHING.
