payoneer questions

I received my payoneer card today.

If I activate it now (with no current balance), will I have to pay the monthly $4 maintenance fee?

I really wished payoneer would make this recurring fee a yearly fee.
I am fine with paying $48 a year.
But it's not okay to charge me $4 a month.
I want to be able to completely empty my account, without having to worry to leave money in there to cover the recurring charges. :disgust

Monthly $4 for active card
Monthly card account maintenance $1.00 if you make 5+ trx/month (My fees)

So I guess I'll wait with the activation then.
My main sponsor has not implemented payoneer, anyway.

I have this:
Monthly card account maintenance $2.00 Per card From available card balance each month

My card is activated but balance $0.00

No fees till now...

crunkedge 10-23-2010 05:31 AM

activated with no fees too, it works with paypal, very nice but no great service )

advance

Can we pay in advance that fee, because I also hate having dozen small fees every month?I am also waiting them to answer emails for days. Probably not smartest move to use them.

I activated my card on Oct 4 and was instantly charged $4 maintenance fee for October, plus a $3.95 activation fee.

I already had a sponsor payment on the card though. Not sure how it works if your balance is $0.

Payoneer support have vacation which takes every 29 days in month

It looks like that fee depend from partner to partner, another irritating thing on payoneer.

Klen: jel ih kosristis ili nesto drugo umesto Payoneer?

Agent 488 10-23-2010 06:20 AM

i got a monthly maintenance for 2 dollars after my first load. the fees are nuts, but maybe keep it active as a back up and for online purchases.

So what happens if I receive a sponsor payout, then withdraw everything and don't fill it up again?
Will my balance go more and more into the negatives every month?

It simply does not work out, imho.
Just charge me $48 every year. Would be much better!

I don't think you have to worry about that - I have emptied my Payoneer card before and no issue :)

So what happens if the account is empty and "maintenance fees" are due?

As far as my understanding goes, if your account is empty when fee is due, you are not charged the fee. But if you go 60 days without activity, they disable your card.
So if you really want to mimimize fees, then you arrange to be paid out every 2nd month and pay only half the fees.

I think the fees will vary from sponsor to sponsor, so depending on who you got your card from, you will pay different fees. I got my card from AWE and pay no fee when they load to me, but for every other sponsor, I pay $2 per load or $5 per instant load.

From their FAQ:

"If the card value is depleted and remains at a zero balance, no monthly maintenance fees are charged until funds are loaded onto the card again."

You'll get hit with the monthly fee PLUS an activation fee when money hits the account.
