Extremely bad sales this month...
 

Easily the worst month of the year so far. Oct started OK and sales have completely stopped for me in the last 5 days like somebody turned the faucet off! I've never seen things this worse before... :(:(

Something shady is going on in the background.....

Which processors and/or affiliate back ends (i.e. ccbill) or does it seem to be across the board for you?

across the board with all programs I promote. Sales have turned fucking bad almost overnight and not back so far....

Mainstream going OK, no big hiccups there....

I experienced this about a month ago. Everything was bimbling along fine then all of a sudden, traditional paysite membership affiliate sales stopped dead. I think I had a week where I literally made one sale through CCBill.

It really baffled me because I hadn't changed anything at my end. I even checked my site to make sure it hadn't been hacked in some way. Came up with nothing.

It's only in the past week that those sales have picked up again. Everything else I'm involved in - cams, phone lines, VOD, ad sales - was unaffected.

posting about your bad sales every month cant help your sales much. stop focusing on your stats and work more on what is working ... :2 cents:

Your business might have a seasonal nature. In that case, low sales may happen next October. You talk of your cash flows dripping like water - this interests me. You can visualize your wealth the best way in your mind. Chances are you have walked through a forest in your life. Think of a geographical area in your mind. Your monthly cash flow is like a river. Imagine that the river of cashflows flows into the lake of retained earnings. If you have more cash inflows than outflows, your lake will rise in the water level. If you have greater cash outflows than cash inflows, the level of the water in the lake will decrease (the water will flow out of the lake rather than into the lake). When all the water is dried up, you will have to go into debt. You will have to go into debt because you have to pay your liabilities as their are due. Good luck.

Traffic dropping for no known reason? If you have a system administrator, check your logs and be sure you aren't being scammed from inside your organization. I've known sys-admins who sold traffic from sites for payment. Food for thought.
