People are not happy that the innocent sites are down.

People are happy that the illegal tubes and torrents hosting with Reality Check are down.

:2 cents::2 cents:

All the illegal sites and stay down.

The sad part is, they are probably the largest clients and Reality Check is rushing to get them back online first.

It won't happen to me unless you gather your friends and make it so. But I have backups.

I know how you feel madawgz. My domain jrkn was stolen from moniker yesterday and we are working to resolve the situation. I have been dealing with this the last 48 hours and have spend hours on the phone with godaddy and several other companies. I never thought this would happen to me but it has. It looks like it will be several months to get this resolved. This is a lesson to everyone to make sure your domains are secured and safe.

We're not sure, we are still looking into it. Seems that 99.246.173.53, located in Ontario, Canada hacked my account.

I got a phishing email (which I didn't click, not that it made a difference) claiming to be from eNom and the last line was " If you have any questions about this process, please contact [email protected]." I looked up that email address today and found this where he is apparently trying to sell stolen domains on GreenGuy.

Was this due to a compromised password or a slip on Moniker's part? I have a very big portion of my domains with Moniker and that statement doesn't sit well with me. If you could elaborate a bit it would be greatly appreciated. :thumbsup

We are working on finding all of this information out now. They used my password so somehow something was hacked. I will be calling Moniker again today to see what they came up with and as soon as I know all the facts I will let everyone know what happened publically if advised by my attorneys. This is a very scary situation and I?m taking full legal action to resolve the situation and make sure whoever is involved will get the maximum punishment for this federal crime. I worked my ass off on that site for years to make it 100% legal and not to steal from anyone just to have my domain stolen from my registrar.

That truly sucks, sorry to hear about the issue. Please keep us informed on what you find out.
