I was just checking out our stats. SexTube search engine traffic jumped HUGE. I'm talking 20% and when did this happen? Saturday/Sunday ie when xvideos went down. Nothing else explains why we had such a sudden jump.

Anybody else seeing this? It's pretty crazy if you ask me.

XNXX.com is down, too. All those idiots who surf to tube sites obviously did not know where else to go.

Yepp 15.7% and 19.3% increase in search traffic over the weekend. Normal day to day variations are below 5% for these two sites for me, so it's roughly 10-15 % change over the normal. Much welcome, as always!

yep we are seeing this indeed - thought something was messed up on our end for a while

Yes, I have a very small tube site that usually gets around 2000 hits a day and since Saturday it has gone up to 8000 uniques a day. All from search.

Well, +10k on russianporntube.com - I hope they need ages to get xvideos and xnxx back online :winkwink:

all tubes are up, some more than others.

Oh, and + 10% on SE traffic. According to history that started exactly on Oct 17th, when xvideos and xnxx went down. Crazy!

A lot more webmasters are using 5ilthy embeds lately. According to google traffic up 22% this week.

A few major illegal tube sites are down. That's why the legal ones having a big surge of traffic and sales.

Make other illegal tubes die and make as many $$$ as ten years ago.

You might be missing part of the equation. The programs aren't closing down for no reason. The conversion ratios are getting worse as time goes on which means you generally need more traffic to have the same revenue.

I always like to play safe. That's a project I'm working on for him but we're also partners on a bunch of sites.

Nothing here. Traffic was as steady as always. Each day it is up or down 1k visitors. No bump with the mostly straight tubes down and I have top 5 on more than a few good keywords.

yeah had our best traffic day ever. Search engine was up about 15% Week over week

It's not just tubes that are up because of this. Many other types of sites all seeing traffic spikes. Enjoy it while it lasts though I doubt those guys will be down for long.

Well, you do drive an affiliate programme and a lot of your posts are "sales/traffic are down, sales/traffic are up". I'm just a bystander, and I think you are an honest guy, but in the current climate, regular joe has to weigh up why the public announcements on such whim?

I sometimes see increases of 2-3 million hits on a site I run, serving other webmasters from which I gain nothing, and I investigate to make sure the increase in traffic isn't nefarious and some times I can't pinpoint it so I let it slide. I could equally not bother investigating and go running to GFY asking why traffic dropped by 1 mill or gained by 3 mill, but I don't.

Just sayin.

In any case, if it helps your quest, my site was doing a steady 5 million lookups/day and since the weekend is steady on 8mill. So I saw a large increase over the weekend, but my traffic isn't xnxx related, nor is it tube related, so take this stat on mainstream increase however you wish....

It's not about the number of people looking at free stuff on your site. It's about the number of people who convert.

I've had galleries on The Hun and videos on Tubes. The Hun did far far better.

I understand. I've made the posts to see if we were alone in the situation. If we were alone then it was a change we made. If we weren't then it was completely out of our control. It's important information to have imo and lately there have been a number of highs and lows. From an affiliate program perspective it does nothing to help get business when I post twice that we had really shitty days and when i post our tube traffic is up. Papillon just always has to be negative in every thread of mine.

But in this situation and regarding this thread it is all about the numbers. Hun could go down and nobody would know. Xvideos/Xnxx goes down and we all feel it. It's really nuts when you think about it. We've got 5 to 10 sites that if they disappeared the entire industry would probably change drastically. That's pretty crazy.

I had a gallery on the hun many years ago and it was like a shit - 200k of hits and no sales at all (please don't tell me that gallery was bad, because it has a very good ratio on CJ2 sites). On the other hand, my legal blog-tube sites convert very good (1:500-1:2000 depends on affiliate program). So don't blame tubes (I mean the legal ones) blame yourself if you can't make your tube site to sell a paysite but not some deepshit like AFF or AWE. :2 cents:
