I only get migranes about twice a year (although less this year so far!!) and there is only ONE thing that makes me feel better. A dark room with no noise and a nice long sleep.

No painkillers help, sex makes things worse (yes I've tried it), but I cannot comment on how the herb may or may not help as I've never used it as a headache remedy.

my mom gets really bad migraines, vision loss, puke all night kind of migraines. i think i had the start of one once, you know where you can't get rid of that damn spot in your vision like you just stared straight into a flash. a couple of beers later and it went away, no headache every developed. my moms tried everything, peanuts, warm/cold packs, imitrex , nothing ever seems to work. so i mentioned the beer, don't think shes tried it yet tho.
