Yea, on second look this is nothing new. They are just saying to use your visa card for VV funds, or send a wire request for your wallet. Nothing new. |

- VV is available via your card, check out SKNAB for more information on those funds. - ePass wallet funds are available to be sent to you via a wire. |

And they got that whole SSN/EIN/TIN thing goin'.
Offshore people are going to LOVE this one! Good luck without any of the aforementioned. If you in the USA you can have an SSN. If you have a corporation the USA you can have an EIN. If you are offshore, you must have a TIN(ITIN) and it is currently taking about six months to get a TIN(ITIN). http://www.irs.gov/businesses/small/...=96696,00.html "ITIN An ITIN, or Individual Taxpayer Identification Number, is a tax processing number only available for CERTAIN nonresident and resident aliens, their spouses, and dependents who cannot get a Social Security Number (SSN). It is a 9-digit number, beginning with the number "9", formatted like an SSN (NNN-NN-NNNN). To obtain an ITIN, you must complete IRS Form W-7, IRS Application for Individual Taxpayer Identification Number (PDF) . The Form W-7 requires documentation substantiating foreign/alien status and true identity for each individual. You may either mail the documentation, along with the Form W-7, to the address shown in the Form W-7 Instructions, present it at IRS walk-in offices, or process your application through an Acceptance Agent authorized by the IRS. Form W-7(SP), Solicitud de Número de Identificación Personal del Contribuyente del Servicio de Impuestos Internos (PDF) is available for use by Spanish speakers. Acceptance Agents are entities (colleges, financial institutions, accounting firms, etc.) who are authorized by the IRS to assist applicants in obtaining ITINs. They review the applicant's documentation and forward the completed Form W-7 to IRS for processing. Foreign persons who are individuals should apply for a social security number (SSN, if permitted) on Form SS-5 with the Social Security Administration, or should apply for an Individual Taxpayer Identification Number (ITIN) on Form W-7. Effective immediately, each ITIN applicant must now: * Apply using the revised Form W-7, Application for IRS Individual Taxpayer Identification Number; and * Attach a federal income tax return to the Form W-7. Applicants who meet an exception to the requirement to file a tax return (see the instructions for Form W-7) must provide documentation to support the exception. New W-7/ITIN rules were issued on December 17, 2003. For a summary of those rules, please see the new Form W-7 and its instructions." More details here: http://www.irs.gov/businesses/small/...=96690,00.html "lien taxpayers who need an Individual Taxpayer Identification Number (ITIN) may be able to secure one from outside the United States. The IRS has permanent staff available which are able to help process Forms W-7, IRS Application Number (PDF) at the following U.S. embassies overseas: Beijing, Frankfurt, London, and Paris. The addresses and phone numbers of these overseas offices may be found at Contact My Local Office Internationally. In addition, there are public accounting firms overseas in certain countries which are Authorized Acceptance Agents for ITIN numbers. You will find their names and addresses at the Acceptance Agent Program page. The IRS also accepts a Form W-7 by mail accompanied by ORIGINAL documents which establish: 1. the identity of the foreign person, and 2. the foreign status of the ITIN applicant. There are 13 documents that can be used to prove foreign status and identity. A foreign passport is the only one that can stand alone (i.e., establishes both foreign status and identity). If a passport is submitted, there is no need to submit any other documents. If a passport is not submitted, a combination of at least two other documents, with at least one containing a photograph, must be submitted with the ITIN application. The IRS will accept copies of original documents, if the copies have been properly certified or notorized by: 1. the government agency (foreign or domestic) which issued the documents, 2. employees of the U.S. State Department located in U.S. embassies and consulates abroad, or 3. a U.S. notary public who is allowed under U.S. state law to notarize foreign documents. It is strongly recommended that, if possible, authorized "copies" of documents be sent in lieu of "originals" And that is just the START of the process! Read it and weep! |

request (attached), or through your existing ePassporte Visa card." That makes it sound like they can transfer to the Visa card. |

Excellent news :thumbsup
|
Nothing here.
But my guess would be that all those that already wired documents/wire form would not get asked again. I at least hope so. |
Now I'm starting to get it. They are not crooks, they are just plain stupid. It was clear all along that epass guys are not bright except for Michael, but I did not know they are that not bright...

"If you have funds on your Virtual Visa Card, please use your Visa Electron Card at ATM.s or Points of Sale Merchant locations." So the card is for the VV funds only (through SKNANB). |

|
No email here.
I dont get it also |
Mad editing skillz.
I wonder though why they'd start with "Thank you so much for contacting ePassporte." or involve visa card in it. :error |
For me this is just time getting procedure...
What about already approved wire request since beginning of Sep?! Why should we send another wire request if old one is already approved? Quote:
|
no mail here yet
|
damn i hope this ITIN shit isnt true
|
why the hell you blurred epass e-mail address?
upload the shit to rapidshare and we can email them. |
There's no reason to give them the virtual VISA number if you are just requesting a wire.
Your account ID is enough. |

What about people that sent wire request and got it approved ?
I have personal account and not business because i'm small webmaster and i don't ave any affiliate program... i stored some money on epassporte and used it to pay hosting and others service... I hope also for us the end will be good ! |
Correction: In re-examining the form, I now realize that this form may be downloaded and emailed or faxed to ePassporte. Mea Culpa!
