Copy disk images (backup) to a new disk?
 

I had a HDD about to fail and backed up all the data, but it came in as a disk image (183 files and one other type of file). They are named image001, image002, etc.

Ive tried to look around online, but has anyone done this or recommend a program to do this? Its 135GB and I have another drive id like to just copy that image to so its bootable (it has windows OS)

dd if=/home/image001 of=/dev/sdb2 bs=4096 conv=noerror
