Hi emill, why not use wire?

Usually checks only take a few days overseas, but then you have to wait for the check to clear. Plus, some banks do not exchange checks uder a certain amount, so set your thresh hold to at least the $100, most are at this, but some send $50 & the banks can turn it down

Might help if you post what country you are in and what bank you use.

As for Hungary, it takes approx. 10 days to get the check by post.
Cashing the check varies from bank to bank, some may charge unreasonably high fees, beware!

By the way, is there a service to "transfer" checks directly to the Payoneer card for example??

international cheque cashing fees depends on your country and on your bank. Even banks in the same country often has different fee structure. Plus some take percentage cut, some take fixed fee and so on. Nobody will answer you that, you should just check out wityh the bank in your country. Contact them or look on their websites if they have a list of their fees for you to check out.

Hi Emill. With EMC2 Payouts you can just have the money transfered from your wallet directly to your bank account anywhere in the world. Of course you could also have the money placed from your wallet to a card or receive a wire or check.

International checks sure take longer to deliver. Consider the benefits of doing business locally instead of over long distances: less long distance fees, faster payments, ability to meet people face to face, etc.
