Indeed, from what I hear it still has some maturing to do but it's making some pretty big waves and progressing very quickly.

jQuery gets even better with some stateful objects!

Yes, used it to do some Web Services and Proxy shit, very easy and fast to develop, also very fast.

I've been using javascript for all my server-side code for years. I never figured out why someone would want to use a different language for client vs server. Why not just get real good at one and use it everywhere?
