Amazon.fr requires a cvv2 code

(Amazon can't legally store your cvv2 code, but if you really buy something they will ask you your cvv2 code)

Ive already bought a couple of things off amazon and they didn't require my cvv2 code, unless they changed it a couple of days ago.

Where amazon.com, amazon.co.uk ?
Anyway i'm sure they will suck with their shipping retrcition

k i'll wait 2-3 days to wait if saint kitties answers, then, if not, i'll buy some useless shit on expensive amazon.

Saint kitts are generating new cvv2. The process should take few days.

Did they tell you that today? They told me that they were finding out a way to get everyones cvv2 numbers last week. I guess the solution was to generate new cvv2 numbers. Are they only generating new cvv2 numbers for people that request them? Obviously card holders don't need the cvv2 only the people without cards.

they told me to call them, but yes i could paste you a screenshot with this info.


"We have requested that the CVV2 be generated for you; however, please note that this process takes a couple of days to be implemented. Please contact us again in three days to retrieve your CVV2 number."


Cvv2 are normally written on the cards, so they just have to read the information.

Thanks I'll contact them tomorrow to see if they can generate my cvv2 number.

Please post an answer so i can do the same thing or wait a little longer.
I'll wait friday or tuesday.

I got my cvv2 number from sknanb today. I haven't tried it yet but will do later.

Finally you were right, i used my credit card on amazon (0.95 euro/ minute to call saint kitts :/). I tried to call them twice and i didn't know if i had to wait or if i had to call them later. So finally i used my CC on amazon first, just to check and it worked (but you have to save the CC in your account).
Also i hope there is no problem with the payment. Once some people ask me a copy of the card to confirm the payment.
