Non-US affiliates jumping ship faster?

Seems like the adult internet is getting less non-us friendly now that epass bit the big one. Thoughts?

goodsites 10-11-2010 03:37 PM

so far its been awesome here, now all those scam sites are drying up, i seen increase in my type in traffic already by 15%, i expect it to triple in 6 months

Tempest 10-11-2010 03:40 PM

It's just a blip.. There are enough alternatives available that sponsors will be implementing a bunch soon enough... Will clear out a few that were just getting by though.

StarkReality 10-11-2010 03:42 PM

Everyone running a solid business shouldn't have a problem cashing an US cheque.

arock10 10-11-2010 03:45 PM

yes, but only for people doing less then wire volume

fuzebox 10-11-2010 03:52 PM

For me it means I'm consolidating promotion and focusing on less sponsors... With epass it was easy to send a bit of traffic to 100 different companies, and now that I've switched my smaller sponsors to check, traffic to them has become less of a priority.

strobi 10-11-2010 03:54 PM

Just a matter of time till everyboy switches to paxum, cashX or something. US checks still cash fine while this clears up...

Indeed, I took a good hard look at my ratios, and I'm sending most of my traffic to 10 programs tops. Was alot more a months ago.

Epassporte was affecting your type-in traffic?

What scam sites are you talking about?

Adraco 10-11-2010 03:59 PM

It will clear out the bottom trash, sure enough. But new ones will appear, so an even and natural balance is kept.

Not everywhere. For example, in Russia the US cheques are real headache.

A quote from http://www.alexa.com/siteinfo/sknanb.com:

Quote:

Visitors by Country for Sknanb.com

Country Percent of Site Traffic
Russia 33.6%
United States 14.0%
Belarus 4.2%
...
So the smart affiliate program owners should think of other alternative payment ways which works best for the majority (see the quote above) of their affiliates :2 cents:

just a punk 10-11-2010 04:36 PM

Also make sure to click the "Clickstream" tab in the alexa stats...

Calico Jack 10-11-2010 04:38 PM

Whilst Epass was immensely handy, I have no trouble cashing U.S checks (and have been doing so for years). I have changed all Epass sponsors back to checks where I can.

Right, the people with solid sites and running real businesses will be fine... but I'd bet on the vast majority of people in adult aren't in that boat.

pornmasta 10-11-2010 04:46 PM

I promote less sponsors without epassporte. That's all...

seeric 10-11-2010 04:48 PM

Many sponsors are not just jumping into bed with any new payout companies. I think if you took a look around you'll see just what I mean. Many programs are not touching the new payout companies.

Wizzo 10-11-2010 04:49 PM

We removed all wire fees and lowered the min. payout and we are seeing a nice boost in new affiliates as of late. :pimp

agreed will76 ....

Oh well, so much for living in 3rd world wannabe countries.
Everything you've earned so far has been 'gratis' in so many words.
Your free ride is over .......

If your little kitchen table 'business' revolves around ePass then get the fuck out.
You don't belong in 'business' anyway.

Nikitos 10-12-2010 01:00 AM

The good sponsor program with good sites and nice ratio will always have enough affiliates to promote them. And it doesn't which payment options they offer. But sure, the more alternatives to choose, the better:)

TeenCat 10-12-2010 01:12 AM

yes, doesnt matter that the business is running good, i gave up because one bank goes down ... man ... :upsidedow

this thread is SOOO WRONG!... epass was shitty since the gambling days, whoever kept using it was too stupid.

Non- USA affiliates know the existence of WIRE TRANSFERS!

Exactly.

To cash a few checks I have to drive to my bank, then wait for the lady to do all the paperwork which takes at least half an hour usually, then sign all the forms, and then wait another 3-4 weeks till the money finally shows on my account. Not mentioning my bank takes approx. $25 from each check...

I know checks are quick and convenient in the US, but almost everywhere else they're obsolete and a serious pain in the ass :(

i am also from czech republic, and seriously, is it hard to make bigger minimal payment so you will receive one check per month instead of four, so you have to go to bank once per month? once per month, instead of five days in week regular job, man, i know the answer ...

TeenCat 10-12-2010 02:00 AM

i am from czech republic, europe, and after epass closed i have switched some sponsors to wire, there is few who are offering free international wire, some sponsors are on webmoney with card, few are on payoneer with card, few will be on paxum with card and the rest, the very low rest, is on checks with minimum payout set to receive check once per few months so no problems here ... just dont be lazy :)

Хорошо сказано, но я таки думаю, что вы руководствовались кое чем еще, когда прикручивали eCoin и ePayService :winkwink: Как насчет Payoneer и Epassporte?
