Any Reply From Providing Due Diligence Forms For Over 2k?

I was wondering what the outcome is going to be for those of us that have over 2K on Visa Cards and if you have gotten a reply from the bank after providing the Due Diligence Documentation? Are they going to reactivate our cards or send us a wire? Has anyone found out whats going to be done? I just submitted all my information a few hours ago including a notarized copy of my ID, Utility Statement, Checking Account Number and Due Diligence form including the Statements they required for Proposed Use Of Funds and What I used my card for.

I wonder if they are going to wire the money into our accounts on file? Since we have larger amounts and it would take me 20 days straight to remove my balance on these stupid fucking cards. After going to the atm this morning I was pretty disappointed when it didn't spit out 20's. I had a gut feeling I was going to fall into this category of people that need to provide due diligence.

Bump for answers

so the cards over 2K are submitted to the DD documentation? My two cards are working, but third one with 4k doesnt work at all.

They say it will take between 5-10 business days which can be up to 15 calendar days .... so we have another long wait ahead of us after submitting docs.

bump for the important question

I just called the bank , i sent those documents on the 6th and called to ask if they received them in an email or if i need to fax them .
They said it would take a while to verify that , but they have people coming in tomorrow to look at those documents and they will probably have a response for me early next week.

xxxRumor 10-11-2010 09:12 AM

anyone got a reply yet?

I'm assuming the account would be avaliable to use when they go through your papers, there's just a lock right now, they're not going to wire it unless you ask for it.

I got a reply on Saturday the 9th, two days after i submitted all my papers. I got a response from the vcsupport email address. I tried to over verify so I am not going back and forth with these guys and hopefully get access to my money. This is the response I got back from them

"Thank you for your email.

We will review and revert back this week.

So we will see :)

do they take a driver license notarized as valid ID? anyone submitted this instead of your passport?

tranza 10-11-2010 12:02 PM

Did they actually ask you to send those documents?

I e-mailed them last week, but never got a reply about why my card isn't working and what I should do.

I haven't sent any documents yet.

I have same problem...

@ Tranza - I'm on my mobile, I sent my documents on the 7th and got a reply Saturday. I skipped the part of waiting for them to send the due diligence documents, and sent them myself from a form and everything people had said to send that posted on here. I don't have a passports so I sent a notarized copy of my drivers license.

They offered me a wire once they accept all the docs so id imagine so..Imy card expires soon and it would take me a month to get it out also.

what kind of documents/bills did you provide? Were they all notarized?
And what did you put as the money's source and its use?

imagearn 10-12-2010 02:12 AM

I had only 6k on the card.

I just followed exactly what they requested, I filled out the form they sent with my details, I sent a copy of my passport, I sent a copy of a letter I had from my bank which was recent within the last month and I also sent them the following for statements in a single word document...

Source of Funds
The funds acquired on this card have been from advertising purchases.

Use of Funds
The funds are used for day to day living, paying rent, bills, grocery shopping.

You need to obviously say you're not getting money from dodgy means and not going to spend it on guns and explosives...

Hope this helps people :)

xl11 10-12-2010 03:15 AM

@imagearn
thanks for the info.
but did you get the copies notarized?

imagearn 10-12-2010 04:44 AM

No.

But seriously it's not really much effort to get something notarized, if you want your money it's a pretty simple task.

I got a reply yesterday late afternoon:

Quote:

Thank you for your email.

We will review the documentation and respond to you during this week. Please do not continue to send in emails as this may delay the process.

Thank you for your patience.

Cardholder Services
not exactly what i was hoping for

BetChips 10-12-2010 10:00 AM

That's exactly what I got @ xxxrumor. When did you send in the documents @ imagearn? I sent mine last Thursday and got 6k in my account also and got the same reply as xxxrumor
