Question about VV expiration and CCV2
 

Did ePassporte Visa Virtual cards expire/renew annually in the same month each year? Did the CCV2 number change when this happens?

Can a VV holder please check this for me?

I imagine it depends on when you ordered your card.

I had a virtual online-use number for quite a while before I ordered my physical card, therefore my physical card expires 3 months after my virtual visa number.

I never ordered an actual card. How often do the physical cards expire/renew?

I see from another post VV renew/expire annually, now just need to find out if a new CCV2 code is issued each time.

I think it renewed every 2 years judging from my records and yeah the CCV2 changed.

Thanks tabasco, 1 or 2 years makes a big difference for me as if it is 2 my old CCV2 number should still be valid. Can anyone else confirm?

Well I see on their site it had an annual fee of $5 for VV, does this mean it expired/renewed annually or was the annual fee unrelated to when it expired/renewed and got a new CCV2?

On a usual credit or debit card the ccv2 numbers chang when a card is renewed.

That is my experience as well with a normal card, was just curious if it was any different for Visa Virtual - it sounds like it is the same.

Now I just need to know if Visa Virtual expired/renewed annually when the $5 fee was charged or if it expired/renewed on some other schedule.
