Epass visa cards - not gona like this
 

ok trolls. here's what you do tomorrow when you rush to the ATM to get your money out.

BEFORE YOU GO - PHOTOCOPY you card - front and back.

i think they will work, but it's possible the bank might just have said this to get all the cards back and have the ATMs keep the cards.


I'm betting the majority of you will put your card in without any backup copy of your card or account #

So the bank notified all the other banks to have their ATMs hold the cards. And then what? Send them to St. Kitts?

I'm guessing they just wouldn't work, similar to now.

just dont stick yourt card into an atm that takes it in, swipe it

I tried out my card yesterday and the bank didn't sack it. It will be no different tomorrow.

actually probably not a bad idea, takes whole 2 seconds to make a copy, and who knows if ATM sucks it up at least you will have some proof that you ever had a card...

I just pressed my card onto a block of cheese so i have an impression of the embossed numbers.

Actually it isn't a bad idea to at least have the number, expiration, and the Cvv but you should have already had all that somewhere before.

Banks don't suck up other banks cards, except their own....really. ((eyeroll))

anyone made a succesful withdrawal today yet? Banks DO swallow other banks cards. Just as retail outlets can withhold your card ifthe bank instruct them to do so. I know because in my youth i worked for a retailer and had to tell at least a dozen scumbags in a couple years of part time work that i had to keep their card. Taking a copy is not a dumb idea. 0.02

Probably not likely but as we all know any card marked as stolen by the issuer actually does NOT get returned at ATM. That said, standard practice is to shred. It's not a bad idea, especially if someone mistypes their pin too many times. Lol

photocopy is going to do anything, you cant use it online.

instead, use only ATMs where you swipe your card, NOT ones were you put it into the machine... problem solved
