I believe he had a poker rakeback site and ended up with 6 figures frozen in epass that were meant to pay the players. That and some 'personal issues' made him pull the trigger.Comment

Wow, that's truly tragic. I know this ePass nightmare affected a lot of workers in the Philippines who had no bank accounts and kept their salaries on their cards. But damn that is really sad that he felt there was no other way out. May he rest in peace.Comment

People having no choice other than suicide is always sad news but the thread title should be "Guy who killed himself over gambling debts that had some of his money locked in epassporte". It is just sensationalism to blame epassporte for his suicide.
Gambling is high risk. Everybody knows that. Epassporte should not be used for gambling monies.
epassporte + people using it to distribute gambling income = no epassporte for anybody.Comment

From what I read, he seemed to have a lot of issues on top of him at once, this was the final straw. Not the fault of epass, he obviously was a little unstable and couldn't handle the pressure. A lot of pressure, no doubt.
