I lowered my car, it's much better now.

I was rocking the stock ride height in the Skyline for a while, which was great for speedbumps, but the thing rolled like a bitch in the corners, so stuff had to change. Up next is some stiffer front and rear sway bars, and then back to power mods.

before with horrible nastyness on the rotor, the result of not driving it hard for like, 2 months :(

ground clearance after with bonus giant fart cannon.

Post your car?

Rice car. You need more stickers.

PenisFace 10-04-2010 05:17 PM

It actually did have a sticker when it came off the boat. I took it off because it was really silly and big.

About 1.5" front and rear. I could have gone much lower, but I still like the idea of being able to drive on shitty roads without ripping the exhaust off. Most people who own these cars agree that the best handling can be had with the car at about 350mm from center of the wheel to the fender. Any lower and the suspension geometry is compromised. If I was a hard parker who never does trackdays or autocross (like most people with fancy cars, I guess), I'd dump it into the weeds because it looks cool, but I'm more interested in the handling for better autocross times :)

must have been the angle on the photos then, I could barely tell a difference.

at the end of the day it's still a nearly 20 year old piece of shit, but it's light, rear wheel drive, turbocharged, and fast. Did I mention it leaks oil? :D

Rochard 10-04-2010 05:47 PM

My car is already low. I scrape on everything. I hate it.

totally changes the look of the car, and I avoid speed bumps at all costs.

Looks great :D I sat in a firebird at a dealership a few years ago, the hood felt really, really long, lol. With slicks like that I bet it hauls

Was just drag radials, blew the tires off no matter what. Stiff suspension + tires that need heat + 550hp = smoke show

LOL I know I have a major issue. Sorry haha. At least it's not a beat to shit something er other. This car will keep up with 95% of the cars people own on this board (in a straight line) at a fraction of the price. It's still a junk domestic car.

Yeah, it's my second fast car and DEFINITELY much faster than the last SS I had. It's a fun car I can drive everywhere with a/c. It's no lambo, but it's good enough for a 24 year old.
