Actually it's not.
He isn't making all that money from Advertising alone, that's why I was asking.

His worth is determined on the basis of Facebook's value should it IPO. The site obviously makes money, anyone who runs a mainstream site knows that. But naturally it doesn't earn more then Apple. That said, Zuckerberg owns a larger share of Facebook then Jobs, and there is a lot of hype around his product, and the potential long-term to monetize. Thus it's got a huge value. At some point Facebook will become a monetized monster, akin to Google, perhaps even in the same field - search with social integrated, but it will take time. Couple of years before Google IPO'd Google was making fuck all money to.

Steve worked for me for a while at another company back in the day. I knew Hal worked there too, but aside from a few words here and there over the years I wouldn't say we really know eachother, not like I knew Winkler anyway.
