I just would like to understand this

why is it so hard to get good traffic these days ???
and how to make at least 1000 visitor a day

that entirely depends on your business. What are you doing? Free site, pay site, AVS, reviews? It really depends. TGP is the easy way to get some traffic. Whether it's quality or not, that depends on the TGP and if it goes well with what you got.

Then there's Search engines. Also worth working on.

Man you have to feed a paysite, it wont attract business on its own.

Here try some of this:

Build free sites to feed paysite
Build tgp galleries to feed paysite
Build AVS sites to feed paysite
Start an affiliate program to feed paysite
Spam search engines, newsgroups, and email to feed paysite

I sure hope that nobody told you feeding a paysite was easy
