Add to borked's reputation
WTF is this all about?!
I see it only on my own posts - a justice balance icon or something with mouseover "Add to Borked's reputation" Onclick it pops up "The page at https://gfy.com says this post has not received any reputation. You currently have 10 reputation points" Hey, you guys finally getting round to implementing my suggestion :thumbsup In any case, add to my reputation, whether you want to or not - that is if you see my scales! And beware anyone that takes my reputation away from me :mad: -edit - bollox, no matter how often I edit the thread, the <!-- here icon is not aligned!! <---- HERE |

This is great and all, however, Eric and BarryP's next step will be a setting up new rules on abuse of this feature. Which will start happening within the week I am sure.

so it seems that those that repped me with higher posts counts gave me rep points on a scale linked to their post counts....
I went from 10 to 40-ish to 124, to 250, to 268 to 292 rep points (and one to 2 to 3 green bars somewhere along the line) |

It appears it's only available to those that are green or red nicks...
they can give positive rep to a post or negative rep. They can also add comments to a post. For example the initial post has received mainly positive reputation, with one person giving it a negative rep with 'homo' comment... http://borkedcoder.com/images/gfy/reputation2.jpg That negative rep vote took me down from "Borked is just a nice guy" to "A jewel in the rough" when you hover over the green bars (and also removed 40 or so rep points). Pretty useless to have rep points though if you can't use them, so dunno why the feature doesn't become available to those with positive rep, even if they aren't a green nick |
and you can see which posts received +/- rep in the user control panel under
Latest Reputation Received So I guess it's useful if it's not abused since you can see where things go well/bad. |
