Every time you make a customer do an action you lose chances of getting a sale. I'm not emailing for a portfolio cause I'm not looking, but if there was a link here I would have checked it out, and then you'd be in my head for next time I am looking.

You know another thing I would suggest is putting your best foot forward. If someone was to click on the link in your GFY profile and see the design they might be like ummm, no thanks.

If you want to sell design services, you should at the very least have the link in your profile be to a visually appealing website.

I don't know, I like gmail.com's design.
