Is GFY a good indicator of where the industry is at?
 

They allow skinning the entire site with an illegal tube site skin, effectively telling the entire industry it's a business and they don't give a fuck about you.

Cluey people and the rest see that happening, yet bend over like bitches and still come back for more.

Full of clueless muppets pretending to be big ballers but happy with a few sales per day :error I have 64 sub affiliates under various sponsors, 4 of you have made 1+ sale.

Sponsors are circling around frantically above the carcasses trying to snag the few remaining affiliates who have an ounce of nous.

The comedy has largely gone from this place.

The business has mostly evaporated long ago.

Gfy is the central hub, and most actively viewed forum in the adult online business. It is the watering hole if you will. No matter program announcements, or latest news, scandals, gripes, or what not. Typically you can find it on Gfy being discussed.

That said, GFY is far from the 'indicator' or reflects the 'playas' of this industry anymore.

I see much more business and optimism elsewhere, which sucks because GFY has been the hub for so long.

GFY has become a joke. The traffic is dying, people aren't skinning it regularly anymore or buying advertisement. You know it's getting cheaper when (no offense) Choker and Mutt are buying ads. They will sell the skin to anyone if they're willing to pay, tube sites or not.

GFY is NOT an indicator - if so then for the past 15 years the industry has been dead and no one is making any money.

I've never regarded GFY as an indicator of anything... mainly because I don't believe half of what is posted here. There's a lot of ape-like chest-pounding going on... mixed in with self-serving propaganda, plus a lot of totally off-topic BS. All in all, it's pretty typical of adult webmaster forums.
