How to determine "How much to charge for SEO work"?

Never done this to anyone for money, so I don't really know what are the prices for this and that.

How much You charge for On-Site and Off-Site SEO?

Agent 488 09-28-2010 02:20 AM

500,000 Ugandan Shillings per hour.

k0nr4d 09-28-2010 02:21 AM

$250-300/hr at least

loreen 09-28-2010 02:22 AM

That's a really general question. If it's "blue oranges from Brazil" your work would be done in 2 days max. If it's "porn" - that's a more complex job :)

You can think about how much time it would take you and charge / hour.

darksoul 09-28-2010 03:26 AM

well, I suppose it needs to be something more than you already make per hour doing seo work for yourself.

What's so funny? The shit isn't cheap for someone that actually knows what they are doing. I've seen it much more expensive than even that figure. Get a clue :2 cents:

that's what the pros charge, if you can even get them to do the work. if someone is willing to do it for less than $100 per hour chances are they aren't good enough to hire.

CunningStunt 09-28-2010 03:44 AM

I'd pay someone $500 per hour if they knew more than I did. THINK about it.

I'm working for nothing on a friend's network, but he sells $8m Euro properties and I'm taking a cut of his sales, so it's a bit different.

On-Site and Off-Site? LOL. What on earth are you talking about?

Exactly. SEO is not a $30 per month submission service. If they are doign it cheap, it means they probably don't know what they are doing because they woudl stand to make much more workign for themselves.

1. nobody will work to put my website on the first page in google and no one can guarantee this ,then why to pay 300$ /hour?for what?

2.there is just 1 seo secret - HQ BACK LINKS - that's all

FighterSpirit 09-28-2010 03:47 AM

if you do on site and off site SEO and have result then average price is about $250-$500/hour

facialfreak 09-28-2010 03:52 AM

The guys who know what they're doing, are not for hire ...

mate if you know seo you are only wasting time and money working for someone else. if its for friend or family yes, do it for some rewards, but dont do seo for anyone. you will just sell you know how and if your know how is not top notch, the other side will never understand what you did with their sites ... fuck it! :)
