JUST hours since troubled child-star Lindsay Lohan was was released from jail after the posting bail of over R2million, photographs of her injecting what is alleged to be heroin have been leaked.

The 24-year-old Mean Girls actress is photographed wrapping what looks like a tourniquet around her arm before using a syringe to ?inject herself? with a substance into her left arm.

British newspaper reported from a source that: ?These images of her with the syringe are terrifying. What no one knows for certain is just how often Lindsay does drugs ? or exactly which drugs she does. Lindsay has made no secret of her drug addiction. People are used to seeing her off her head.?

The images were leaked from a party in Hollywood that Lohan attended in 2007, where she was also said to be partying with hotel heiress Parish Hilton. The two were also spotted on the night kissing and cuddling each other.

This comes after ?an order has been signed by Judge Patricia Schnegg granting writ of habeas corpus, when Lohan failed her drug test over the weekend, sending her back to jail. But within hours the bail had been posted and Lohan walked free.

Lohan soon took to social network page Twitter and wrote: ?Substance abuse is a disease which doesn?t go away overnight. I did fail my recent drug test. I am prepared to face the consequences.?

IIRC, a heroin user would apply a tourniquet to their upper arm and not their wrist. IMO, these blurry B&W (from 2007) pictures are probably fake.

It sure seems that the law is protecting Lindsay Lohan's health in this case. Heroin is very bad for health.

That is an image from 2007. How does that affect her present case and issues?

Didn't she just come from the UCLA rehab center and showed no signs of withdrawal or major substance abuse issues?

Quite simply, I sincerely believe that Lindsay is one of the few people who just wants to party it up, Hollywood style. The accident that she had was the major issue that shone a spotlight on her, but I do believe that she will be just fine.

The pics were taken in 07 - but BRAND NEW to the public (just released) and judging by the many media sources running with the story the pics are VERY REAL.
