I didn't know Poland hates Ukraine so much. Each time i was visiting i was given a much better picture of polish people and they were good to me, may be because i was good to them too. What exactly is offensive here? I'm polish and this is to make fun of polish people's stereotypes... I spent most of my life living in Canada, so I don't know anything about the gas stealing thing for ukraine. I think it's something to do with the whole russian gasprom thing and that they were accusing ukraine of stealing gas from the pipelines?

When I was in Macedonia this year, I was told to not go to Greece but instead go to Turkey.
Still went to Greece - and yeah, it was expensive.

Greece is rather reasonably priced for an American to go vacation at in Europe. Most expensive part is flying to Europe, once you make it though it's cheap as hell to move around.

I might have exagerated the $300 a bit, trip to one of the islands for 7 days including flight would be around $400 or so all inclusive
